He arrived home right now after the circumcision and explaining the incident to his grandmother with great sorrow. Listening to him, I was looking back to my childhood. In our time, there was no doctor only Hazem or Maulavi were eligible for circumcision. Children hide themselves when they hear the Hazem is coming for circumcision. Everyone was afraid of the pain after circumcision, to stop bleeding Hazem used to wrap with a piece of cloth and that was too painful. And we get relief from pain by sitting in lukewarm water for hours and it removes the hard cloth with dried blood. It was an inexpressible pain.
Every parents duty is to circumcision their child in a proper age. Circumcision included in Fitrat of Sunnat-A-Ibrahimi. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ordered:

Fitrat means there are five natural rule- among them one is circumcision. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ordered:

One who accepts the religion Islam, he should do circumcision; in this case there will be no age limit.

In the circumcision ceremony, it is better to avoid formalities of show off. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam once rejected a invitation of circumcision ceremony written in the Musnade Ahmade Hazrat Hasan (R:). So, as per Shariah there is no need to show off for circumcision.
Without circumcision, urine and sperm can stuck in the skin fold which can affect purity. From ancient times, Sunnat-A-circumcision is an essential religious provision.
In our villages, there is some superstition with circumcision, Like-
• To purify the children, they use gold, silver and cane in the bath water.
• During circumcision mother keeps the childs head wet, by doing so the child will feel less pain.
• Different types of dry food like- rice, dal, beans, wheat fried together. They think it can help the wound to recover.
As per physician, most of the male got cancers without circumcision. Besides other disease like- Phimosis or Paraphimosis is there to attack.
Circumcision is a shariah law for Islamn yet it is a healthy process too.
